Q: When was the moment you first knew you were meant to be an entrepreneur?

My mother was a great inspiration as I used to help her with her plant maintenance company when I was a kid.

Q: What is the biggest challenge you have faced starting your business?

Having to learn to wear all the different hats that a business owner has to wear, whether I liked it or not.

Q: What is the biggest “win” you have experienced as an entrepreneur?

The ability to pay myself more than any other wage or salary I have ever earned before.

Q: What is the most important piece of advice you would give to others who are starting their own business?

It’s ok to not know everything as long as you are aware of your own limitations. Be willing to look for and ask for help and surround yourself with other intelligent and insightful people who understand you and your business goals.

Q: What was the biggest key to your success? How do you measure success?

The biggest key to my success has been a supportive family. I measure success in terms of not only profitability, but also the amount of enjoyment I derive from running the business.
