TechAlliance’s GROW Accelerator powers entrepreneurs to make the crucial leap from startup to scale-up and has just finished its third season with an impressive cohort that will have incredible impact on our innovation economy. GROW Accelerator provides intensive learning and experiences with world-class growth coaches, who help prepare participating companies to substantially increase revenues, acquire new customers, attract and retain talent, and position themselves to attract angel or venture capital investment. With globally successful alumni like DIBZ and Orca, GROW Accelerator is facilitated by TechAlliance’s Venture Growth Advisory team and mentored by serial entrepreneurs and innovators who help these organizations flourish in our local, national, and global economy.
Welcoming startups and established businesses to participate in a learning and growth experience like never before, GROW Accelerator focuses on real-life learning and networking opportunities through weekly meetings with the expert growth coaches. These opportunities allow for informative conversations and a chance to share stories, challenges, and successes with likeminded entrepreneurs. Participants are supported by coaches in starting, scaling, finance, legal, operations, sales, marketing, funding opportunities, intellectual property, and other specialties, accelerating the participants towards exponential growth with a founder-first attitude.
As our Fall 2021 GROW Accelerator cohort completes their learning together, they will be prepared to launch into opportunities to scale and succeed. The four ventures in this cohort are built from local and regional tech talent and dedicated entrepreneurs with a knack for education and a drive for growth.

Connecting property management to digital accounts directly through online portals, CondoWorks is an accounts payable (AP) automation platform for property management, enabling invoices to be received, coded, approved, and paid properly. As GROW Accelerator participants, CondoWorks is dedicated to automating accounts payable and is gearing up to launch the platform into new opportunities for scale, including commercial and multi-family property management.
Providing comprehensive cyber safety and coding education for kids, Cyber Legends focuses on making cyber safety teachings into a fun and educational tool. Though gamification, Cyber Legends has created a digital world that teaches children necessary skills in cyber safety including privacy, password protection, and more. Paired with a comprehensive, teacher-driven and Ontario curriculum aligned lesson plan for different age groups, Cyber Legends provides a balanced and well-informed platform to promote and ensure the safety of our kids online. Set to continue their rapid expansion, their participation in GROW Accelerator will allow for their impactful intentions to provide free and accessible education to be amplified within Southwestern Ontario and beyond.

With an upcoming December 2021 launch date arriving shortly, Locorum’s participation in GROW anticipates local support like never before. Locorum provides a platform to support local businesses and entrepreneurs that provides users with an easy way to find, hire, and shop the local businesses that make our communities unique. With a directory of hundreds of service providers, users also earn rewards with every use of the platform that they can spend at hundreds of verified local businesses through their Redeem Directory. With a goal to be in every major city in Canada within the next 12 months, Locorum’s expansion post-GROW Accelerator will allow for continued learning, networking, and growth.
