ScaleUP Showcase and Pitch Competition Highlights Regional Innovation

The ScaleUP Showcase & Pitch Competition, organized by WETechAlliance, is set to spotlight the transformative journeys of tech entrepreneurs in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent this February. The event is particularly notable as it marks the culmination of the eighth cohort of the ScaleUP Accelerator program, promising to be the largest and most celebratory iteration to date.

Taking place on February 6th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Art WindsorEssex, the event aims to foster innovation, networking, and celebration among local tech entrepreneurs. This year, five companies will compete for a grand prize of $20,000, determined by a panel of seasoned investors and industry experts. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to award a “People’s Choice” prize of $2,500, sponsored by the City of Windsor.

The ScaleUP Accelerator, recognized for its valuable contribution to local startups, is powered by Libro Credit Union in partnership with Invest Windsor-Essex. The program provides tech entrepreneurs with essential resources, including growth coaching, strategic planning, expert insights, and financial assistance. Over the years, it has successfully guided over 40 companies, showcasing their resilience and innovation.
