At the heart of this remarkable journey lies a groundbreaking Mobile App Building platform and flagship product that has been incubated by TMRRW INC. Liwordson, the Founder of Welcome Platform Technologies and the President of TMRRW INC., says this innovative project was inspired by the needs of newcomers during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Liwordson explains, “The idea was not originally mine. The LIP (Local Immigration Partnership) of Lambton County first brought their concerns for newcomers to my attention in 2020 due to challenges from the pandemic. TMRRW INC. collaborated closely with the LIP to launch the ‘Welcome to Lambton’ app, and during the discovery stage I realized that our solution could benefit millions across the country. However, after talking to several other immigration orgs in Ontario, the cost, maintenance, and expertise presented significant barriers.”

This realization prompted Liwordson and his team to develop an entirely new approach to launching mobile apps and crafted an innovative business model for monetization. The result is Welcome Platform Technologies, which is now weeks away from deploying another Welcome App in a different Ontario community, with several other communities in the pipeline.
