Youth Effect provides youth (18-29) with experiential learning and training with local businesses, focusing on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in Northwestern Ontario. The program takes place over 15-weeks and NOIC contributes approx. 90% of the salary. Participants must be working on an innovative project, not day-to-day operations. Youth also receive innovation training, mentorship, leadership retreat, and a peer network for those showing a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. Over 85% of youth are retained full-time when the program ends!
