Position Description: Program Facilitator

Reporting to: Program Manager – CFE iHub

The Program Facilitator will ensure that IG’s Circular Food Economy Innovation Hub (CFE iHub) provides effective circular economy business support programming through the Circular Opportunity Innovation Launchpad (COIL). The Program Facilitator will ensure that business-facing activities are designed and executed, program information is effectively collected and organized, and program results are effectively analyzed.

In this role you will contribute to the CFE iHub team through:

Program Delivery and Planning

  • Developing and refining tools and guides for circular economy business programs. These materials include information session and orientation slides, program guides, one-page program or service offering explanations.
  • Assisting with the COIL program intake process, including information sessions, application evaluation, liaising with the review panel, and onboarding.
  • Co-designing and delivering Innovation Guelph-led business-facing group activities (networking events, idea labs, curriculum reviews, etc.).
  • Interacting with COIL clients to determine that business-facing activities meet their needs and supporting them in completing all program reporting requirements.

Information Monitoring and Analysis

  • Inputting all program interactions in Innovation Guelph’s CRM.
  • Refining and monitoring the application platform SM Apply across intake, submission, and review sections for Innovation Guelph-led COIL programming.
  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing all Key Performance Indicators from COIL client surveys and project reports.
  • Writing two summative reports to share lessons learned.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a high-energy environment. They will have administrative, project, and/or program support experience and a relevant degree or equivalent. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are imperative to excel in this position:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strength in scheduling, planning and time management
  • Robust organizational abilities
  • Proven ability to show initiative and see the “big picture”
  • Aptitude for reporting
  • Ability to present/speak comfortably in front of a group
