The University of Ontario Institute of Technology is a public research university located in Oshawa. Ontario Tech is the only university in Canada to offer an accredited undergraduate nuclear engineering program. Ontario Tech has membership in the University Network of Excellence in Nuclear Engineering and has a close relationship with industry partners. The enabling legislation of Ontario Tech includes the implementation of a “Technology-Enriched Learning Environment” (TELE), which emphasizes the usage of computing resources through the student experience.
