Innovation Guelph’s 10th Anniversary – A Message From Mickey Campeau

So many experiences to reflect on!! Here are a few random thoughts that may or may not make sense to all the readers: Office Antics! Front office tai-chi, walks downtown, cupcake celebrations, office bridal showers, the Mentor Band, the slanted ceiling in the original location (watch your head!), the first tour of our new space, Adopt-a-Family Christmases, marshmallow golf, renewals on funding, client successes and celebrations, client socials, Secret Santa, the growth of the Innovation Expo, receiving the video message from Prime Minister Trudeau, handing out seed funding “big cheques,” meeting team members for the first time in person after months of virtual meetings, and so many more fun memories with some great people. 

Over the years, our space, team, programs, and collaborations have all grown, but at the heart of everything we do, is the question – what’s right for the clients? We’ve excelled as a Regional Innovation Centre by maintaining this mindset. We have always led with integrity and the best intentions, and I am happy to be part of the history  and the next ten years. Thank you to our amazing clients and supporters. Being part of this team is certainly something that makes me proud, and I congratulate the team on the many successes over the past 10 years. Thank you! – Mickey Campeau
