HardTech Presents: IP Forum (What Can IP Do For Me?)

Welcome to the HardTech IP Forum, brought to you by ventureLAB in partnership with BDC!

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Come learn from exceptional Hardware Founders from HyIvy, Open Oceans Robotics, Baanto, and GaN Systems how they leveraged IP along their entrepreneurial journey to protect their tech and their companies, the successes and challenges. This session will be moderated by ventureLAB’s own IP Director Josée Pharand.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: We will also hear from four presenters whose organizations help entrepreneurs make the most of their IP. Lally Remintilla from BDC will explain how BDC’s IP-backed fund helps entrepreneurs obtain funding; Edwin Ndatuje from the Standards Council of Canada will discuss the importance of standards in IP; Reda Damou will demo Explore IP, a database of federally-owned IP available for licensing, and Lisa Desjardins will talk about the IP support that the Canadian Intellectual Property Office offers entrepreneurs.

This October 5, join other hardware founders and IP enthusiasts to find out everything there is to know about how you can maximize your company’s IP.

HardTech IP Forum is a virtual event and REGISTRATION IS FREE.
