ForaHealthyMe Inc. Announces Integration with PointClickCare

ForaHealthyMe Inc, a virtual care solutions provider that utilizes computer vision and gaming technology to deliver tele-rehab services, is proud to announce its partnership with PointClickCare, the leading cloud-based software vendor for the senior care market. As part of the partnership, ForaHealthyMe will seamlessly integrate with PointClickCare’s core electronic health record (EHR) platform, and be listed as an integrated offering on the PointClickCare Marketplace.

The ForaHealthyMe solution utilizes gaming, computer vision, and proprietary mathematical algorithms to create precise measures for hip, knee, trunk, shoulders, and pelvis angle activities. Residents can also access gamified tools and applications including virtual coaching avatars that simulate human motion. Powered by artificial intelligence, these avatars help to stimulate the physical activity necessary for a range of motion assessment and ongoing rehab.

“Post-op surgical care, fall related injuries and existing chronic illnesses such as osteoarthritis, impair both the physical and mental health care of residents,” said Courtney Cole, CEO, ForaHealthyMe Inc. “Prior to, and after a surgical procedure or a fall, rehabilitation and cognitive assessments are vital to a resident’s recovery. The platform delivers protocols such as squats, balance, gait, and posture. By integrating applications that accurately measure functional capability across simple and complex motions, providers are able to remotely conduct musculoskeletal, neurological, and cognitive assessments. As such, our virtual care solutions can be deployed as part of a proactive healthy living, resident management, and monitoring program.”

As a result of the integration, data — including video— generated from range of motion activities and other assessments will be shared securely within PointClickCare’s EHR platform. This data will become part of a resident’s health record and be accessed by health teams across multiple treatment centers. This is expected to facilitate enhanced care, assessments, and information sharing among long-term care homes, primary care physician, treatment centers, and the resident’s caregiver during all phases.

Additional information regarding the integration can be found on the PointClickCare Marketplace — an online platform that enables customers to easily evaluate authorized third-party technology partners. Partners listed on the PointClickCare Marketplace offer integrated apps and/or services that are designed to be quickly deployed and work seamlessly with providers’ existing workflows. “Our Marketplace Partners provide world-class technology and share our deep commitment to ensuring our customers have access to the most powerful, efficient, and effective solutions,” said Chris Beekman, Marketplace director, PointClickCare. “We are excited to partner with ForaHealthyMe to jointly help our mutual clients manage the complex challenges of senior care.”
