Artificial Intelligence Takes Centre Stage at Windsor-Essex DevFest 2024

WINDSOR, ON (October 25, 2024) – The Windsor Google Developers Group (GDG) is proud to announce the return of Windsor-Essex DevFest 2024, a premier technology conference happening on Saturday, November 16, 2024. This year’s event, themed “Build with Artificial Intelligence,” will be hosted at the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business and promises to be one of the largest gatherings of tech enthusiasts, developers, and innovators in the region.

DevFests are globally recognized conferences that bring together developers, tech leaders, and students to explore the latest technologies. Windsor-Essex DevFest 2024 will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its real-world applications, offering participants a chance to dive deep into both the technical and ethical aspects of AI.

In addition to the professional track, a dedicated high school track, led by Ron McKenzie, Computer Science Teacher at Vincent Massey Secondary School, will offer students a hands-on workshop. Participants will work with Arduino kits to assemble and program car kits, providing a practical introduction to coding and robotics.
