Altitude Accelerator welcomes Uzoma Erondu as Advisor!

Altitude Accelerator is pleased to welcome and introduce Uzoma Erondu to the Altitude community! Uzoma joins Altitude Accelerator as an advisor and will be sitting on the Investor Review Panel moving forward. Hailing from Nigeria and then relocating to Canada in 2021, Uzoma has had the wonderful opportunity of functioning in multiple capacities across multiple industries over the course of his career. Having worked as a consultant at Big 4 firm, KPMG, an infrastructure lender, an advisor and now an investor at The Atmospheric Fund (TAF), Uzoma brings critical insight and a fresh perspective to help guide startup founders, especially those with a particular interest in the sustainability space.  

Uzoma’s passion as an impact investor is rooted in ultimate goal of seeing Canada achieve its goal of becoming a net-zero state by 2050. As part of his work on the impact investing team at TAF, he is ever on the lookout for firms that have the charisma, the capital, and the capacity to reduce GHG emissions in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). In particular seeking out field-tested technologies and firms who have high potential to generate great value for the GTHA from a social and financial perspective.  

Having interned with York Angel Investors and Ontario Power Generation, in addition to his practical experiences makes Uzoma an amazing addition to the Investor Review Panel here at Altitude. His deep understanding of what investors are looking for in startup founders, work experience from across industries and across multiple countries, positions him to be a voice of advice that is not only welcome but needed in our startup ecosystem.
