Jeremy has joined Altitude Accelerator while pursuing his Master of Management of Innovation (MMI) at the University of Toronto Mississauga. He has a strong background in medical sciences, having studied physiology and pharmacology at Western University. Although he has always been passionate about research and the complexities of the human body, his interests have shifted toward exploring the connections between healthcare, business, and innovation.
His fascination with entrepreneurship began during his time at CANcube.ca, a Canadian startup that focuses on selling handheld puzzles, including Rubik’s cubes. This experience not only deepened his understanding of small business dynamics but also allowed him to engage in a variety of tasks such as website design and marketing campaign development. The fast-paced startup environment, coupled with the need for creative problem-solving and the opportunity to wear multiple hats, reinforced his enthusiasm for startups and their significant contributions to society.
In his new role as a Marketing and Communications Associate at Altitude, Jeremy is excited to leverage his scientific background, business knowledge, and healthcare passion. He aims to support startups by helping them tell their stories and engage with the innovation community. Looking ahead, Jeremy aspires to utilize the experiences and insights he gains at Altitude to make a positive impact on Canada's healthcare system, regardless of where his career takes him.
