12 local, women-led startups have successfully graduated Haltech Regional Innovation Centre’s Beyond Boundaries accelerator program for women entrepreneurs, bringing a well-deserved celebration to hardworking founders.
BURLINGTON, ON – Haltech Regional Innovation Centre is proud to announce the graduation of 12 local women-led startups from the 4th cohort of the Beyond Boundaries program. This program was originally created under the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES); an initiative set forth and funded by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. With our fourth cohort graduating in late February, Beyond Boundaries continues to provide women entrepreneurs in Halton with an equitable boost by teaching four key areas of business development: scale, sales, finance, and technology.
The graduation ceremony was held on February 28th, 2023 at TechPlace in Burlington, and it was an event to remember. Program participants had the opportunity to showcase their companies in front of a supportive audience of mentors EIRs, and fellow entrepreneurs. The graduation ceremony also provided a unique networking opportunity, where founders could connect and build relationships.
Beyond Boundaries is a five-week program that provides women entrepreneurs and women-led startups in Halton with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to succeed in the world of business. The program is designed to be accessible, inclusive, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each participant.
