WEtech Alliance Adds Three New Members to Its Growth Coach Team

Each year, our Growth Coach program assembles a diverse team of specialists aimed at assisting founders and clients in overcoming challenges and accelerating their business journeys. This year's lineup features experienced advisors spanning various stages of entrepreneurship, ready to provide invaluable support when obstacles arise.

In-house advisors, like Adam Castle, Director of Venture Services and Partnerships, and Susana Martins, Business Advisor & Manager of Startup Services, serve as generalists who identify challenges and blind spots while encouraging progress. However, some situations demand a specialized touch, and that’s where our Growth Coaches come into play. They are likened to surgeons—deep thinkers willing to “roll up their sleeves” to tackle tough problems. Our Growth Coaches hail from Canada's innovation ecosystem and beyond, each bringing a wealth of experience and a commitment to a "give-first" mentality.

When founders encounter roadblocks, the Growth Coaches are ready to intervene, leveraging their extensive networks to connect local startups in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent to larger ecosystems. Our matching process is purposeful; we carefully pair each Growth Coach with a founder to ensure compatibility and foster a fruitful relationship. This thoughtful approach is led by Susy Kusta, Manager of Programs and Client Experience, who oversees the Growth Coach platform and curates a roster that exemplifies community spirit and investment in helping others succeed.

This year's group of Growth Coaches embodies the spirit of resilience and experience. Each member knows the journey of entrepreneurship—filled with successes, stumbles, and the need to restart. Their collective expertise is invaluable as they guide, challenge, and celebrate the aspirations of founders as they strive for growth and navigate real issues.

We are excited to introduce the new members of our Growth Coach team, who are poised to make a meaningful impact in the community. Their mission is not only to offer direction but also to empower entrepreneurs, fostering an environment where innovative ideas can thrive.

In summary, our Growth Coach program plays a critical role in supporting local startups by providing targeted, expert advice tailored to the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs. As we prepare to unveil this year’s roster, we look forward to the collaborations and progress that await our founders and clients.
