University of Windsor Introduces Innovation Fellowship Offering $12,000 Funding for Each Participant

The University of Windsor Innovation Fellowship is a new venture development program designed to support early-stage founders, creators, and researchers. It offers selected participants up to $12,000 in funding from Intellectual Property Ontario (IPON) to help develop their innovative ideas.

The fellowship targets students, recent graduates, faculty, and affiliated researchers from any discipline eager to transform their concepts into viable projects. The fellowship will accept 10 participants into its inaugural cohort, providing structured support through mentorship and advising. Over a 14-week period, fellows will engage in weekly sessions and hands-on workshops, focusing on critical components like market validation, intellectual property strategies, and commercialization planning.
