The Future of Work & Learning is a complex challenge for countries, governments, communities, academic institutions, organizations and individuals that requires swift action and no single stakeholder can solve this on their own.
From 2019 to 2021, Communitech joined forces with a group of community partners to help ensure Canadian workers, companies and communities continue to succeed through this evolution.
The Waterloo Region Future of Work & Learning Coalition began as an informal conversation in 2019. Together, we were successful in building a community of employers, employees, academia and government dedicated to future-proofing our workplace.
The coalition hosted events to drive conversations around the future of work and launched pilot projects across the region, documenting our learnings with a commitment to share.
Through our work, we were committed to providing open-source learning and best practices to share with other Canadian communities. After all, we’re in it together.
