Estare Inc., an alumnus of the ScaleUP Accelerator, has been chosen as one of 13 Canadian startups to participate in the 2026 Silicon Valley Advanced Manufacturing & Industry 4.0 Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA). This initiative, led by the Canadian Consulate in Palo Alto, aims to facilitate connections between investment-ready Canadian startups in advanced manufacturing and artificial intelligence (AI) and key players in Silicon Valley, including investors, technology scouts, corporate venture teams, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and other industry partners.
This year’s program is particularly timely as global manufacturers are increasingly seeking technologies that enhance the scalability, resilience, and economic viability of hardware production. Notable areas of focus include automation, robotics, advanced materials, power electronics, precision manufacturing, and AI-enabled production systems. Startups are encouraged to develop solutions that can reduce time to market, minimize supply chain risks, and cater to the next generation of automotive and consumer electronics.
Vedagya Bakshi, the Founder and CEO of Estare, expressed pride in the company's selection for the CTA, emphasizing its mission to reduce costs, weight, and waste associated with returnable automotive packaging. Bakshi credits programs like the CTA and partnerships with organizations such as WEtech for providing growth opportunities to emerging companies like Estare.
Estare is currently working on its PackSeries+ system, which focuses on smart manufacturing and logistics. The startup’s selection to the CTA highlights its alignment with other Canadian innovators in fields like industrial AI, robotics, digital twins, machine vision, and advanced manufacturing.
Adam Castle, Director of Venture Services and Partnerships at WEtech Alliance, praised Estare for its deep understanding of manufacturing challenges, stating that the expertise evident in PackSeries+ comes from a team that genuinely lives and breathes the industry. He noted that such exceptional skill and industry insight is an asset that the Windsor-Essex region possesses more than many realize. Castle expressed pride in having supported Estare as it established itself and looks forward to seeing the company represent Canada on an international stage.
The CTA event will take place from October 13 to 15 in Mountain View, California. During this time, participating companies will engage in targeted B2B meetings, networking opportunities, and market-development activities specifically designed to connect them with potential customers, investors, and strategic partners.
The CTA presents an exciting opportunity for Estare Inc. and its peers as they work towards revolutionizing the advanced manufacturing landscape. The recognition and support from such a prominent program further solidify the pivotal role these startups can play in shaping the future of manufacturing technologies both in Canada and globally. Congratulations to Estare on this significant milestone and the promising journey ahead as they continue to innovate and grow in the dynamic field of advanced manufacturing.
